I'm not saying ASCOD 2 will be the replacement for Finland's BMP-2 when they are retired, but what this very well might mean is that Patria will offer it for a contract that earlier has been expected to be more or less a walkover victory for the CV 9035, and BAES might actually have to fight for it.
