Imma beat this dead horse until the ASCPA comes to stop me: Trump is saying, almost word-for-word, what a depressingly large %age of Bluesky people say: The the government MUST regulate news. (Many of them, the particularly dim ones, actually believe it used to.)

In California this is only done w/ strays to visibly show they're neutered and don't need to be trapped.
In Northern CA, where both my cats were neutered by the ASCPA, they tattoo their belly so that if they're reshaved for a neuter it will show it's been done.

I love that we clip cats' ears when they get neutered. It's like if getting a vasectomy came with a free face tattoo.

We have a new member of the Rosette.
Her name is Emory (at least for now!) and she was a rescue from the Texas ASCPA given to Second Chance Animal Services. She's 2 years old and only weighs in at 6.5lbs. But don't let her small size fool you: she's FULL of sass.

床に落ちていたAdvil gelを噛んでしまい、少しibuprofenを口に入れてしまって嘔吐。
かかりつけの獣医師に従ってまずASCPA poison control。相談料を払って相談したあとcase # をもらう。その後、獣医師にその番号を渡す。獣医師がASCPA に問い合わせ救急病院に行くように指示される
車で1時間くらいのところの救急専門の病院へ。
ネコ専用の診察室。white noiseが出るスピーカーが付いていた。ドアには通訳の情報が。日本語の通訳も頼めるみたい。人の病院と同じで感動。

Give to local rescues ran by volunteers too. They do tons of hard work, many to get the sicker animals ready for adoption, taking in seniors, etc. ASCPA sucks

Couldn’t Edie Falco or Eric McCormack donate their paychecks so we don’t have to see the 20 minute long ASCPA commercials? I donate and volunteer at our local shelter. I’m not giving $ to any company that can buy that much commercial time?
