Finally an image of #Saturn that isn't too bad - have a new camera (ASI678) that is better suited to my F/10 set up. Not yet up to speed with FireCapture - that's for another day - so using ASIAIR #astro - Seeing not great but it's a start ...

Especially when teamed with the right pixels in the CMOS camera. Much better since i stopped using my Asi533 and moved over to the Asi678 for these hi-res images…

Lovely! Paul remind me what camera you use? I’ve just added asi678 to my set up and its pixel size suggests F/10 is best for 8”SCT yet you go x3 which would blow me out if i did the same… 🤔

Thanks! I've been using an ASI678 on a C8 but want to try some eyepiece projection.
