mmap_rnd_bits says 32 on all seven of my servers. A 1000-run measurement showed 22 bits for the stack, 18 for the heap; the linker quietly took four more.

No, fuck off. Not until you fix like your lame and unsafe string routines, screwy pthreads, and provide _r versions of you static buffer non thread safe strtok(), gmtime(), and asctime(), get more consistent error handling, add ASLR, stack canaries, and control flow integrity.
