ASPEED Technology and Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) formed a strategic partnership to enhance next-generation datacenter control. The first outcome is ASPEED’s AST1840 Satellite Management Controller, integrating an Arm subsystem with embedded Lattice FPGA for flexible, expandable server management.AST1840 connects to BMCs via LTPI, supports OCP OBMF-ICP over dual USB, and enables Streaming Boot based on Caliptra 2.x Root of Trust. It targets modern, AI-driven, modular datacenter platforms and is expected to be available in Q3 2026.
