Repair (with pins) of the anterior talo-fibular ligament (ATFL), the calcaneo-fibular ligament (CFL) and the posterior talo-fibular ligament went well. Next year the talus bone and springer ligament will be repaired.

Said this before but I didn’t play Kirby ATFL because I wasn’t sure it would click with me and $90 after tax is a lot to spend on something I might drop after a couple hours. But it’s a good thing I waited because now I can try it on Switch 2 for $130.

So I got an MRI yesterday over 2 months after my injury date (June 2nd) cause it’s not getting better. Turns out I completely tore my CFL and ATFL. I asked for an MRI 2 months ago and now I will find out if I need surgery to fix it which would mean starting at square one for recovery.

By creating a permanent source of funding for the organization, the endowment will help ATFL sustain and expand its policy work, community engagement and educational efforts in Washington, and advocacy on behalf of the Lebanese American community.
