And even if you want to let slide the fact that the biggest red state hubs are in blue cities--DFW, SLC, ATL--they cannot pick up all the capacity from LAX, SFO, JFK, EWR, etc.
Again, physics problem.

It took roughly 24 hours from when we left the Rome airport — and my suitcase had extended its stay in Paris (effing CDG, and effing Delta liars in ATL) — but I am finally home and in bed. 🙌

The extra 3x weekly ATL-FCO next summer (DL276/277) will also be switched to the A350 with the new configuration.
Separately, Cincinnati (CVG) to Paris (CDG) will be flown with a daily A330-300 instead of the 767-400ER next summer

In-laws live on the downwind-base turn to 8L in ATL. I caught this today when watching airplanes with my son. Really cool to see the wake make a hole in the cloud. No worries. The cloud quickly repaired itself. It was an A339 from CDG. #avgeek

I have never been on a Transatlantic flight so empty the crew had to tell us to sit in the assigned seats for weight balancing reasons, but this CDG-ATL flight is seriously empty. Probably less than 1/2 capacity.

Frankfurt will forever be tarnished for me though because I hit it during an airline strike and also got singled out for extra screening by the German TSA, so no thank you, I’ll fly in somewhere else and take the train if I must
