Iowa has long suffered from state-owned AWOS sites located in corn/soy fields, sometimes surrounded on all sides within 3m by crop and inaccessible until harvest :/ Many of the AWOS sites had their sensors removed by the FAA this summer, but not all sites. ie Clarion CAV currently 90/90 :(
