【KAMIHITO Today's Word 2026.8.5】 ~ A Way of Answering, "I Don’t Know" ~ There is also a way of answering: "I don’t know." It means keeping it as a confirmation of the present situation: I do not know now, but perhaps a time will come when I will know. For now, that alone may be enough. When it comes to past events, even if we continue discussing them through speculation that remains only within the realm of possibility, opinions will split in as many ways as there are people imagining them, and this will also become a cause that leads our thoughts into a labyrinth. Those who take a sincere interest in that subject and continue to seek until they reach the truth will eventually teach us the true answer. However, when speaking together about the future or about ideas, in contrast, it will be an extremely constructive, enjoyable, and meaningful time.
