Shocked by my own outrage to see Gilmore Girls get such a low ranking. I wonder if its cultural value got depreciated by AYITL, or maybe by the over-inflated Marvelous Mrs. Maisel — I would have expected it to end up in the 40 to 70 range. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Rory, you do suck for stringing Paul along.
And that's it? She tells Lorelai she's pregnant and the show ends?
Dang.
It's been real. 🍂 🍁 ☕

This is interesting tension. Rory wants to write about her and her mother's life and Lorelai does not want the details of her life shared that way.
I get both sides here.

Rory's too broke to buy underwear but doesn't she have a trust fund from her great grandmother, the original Lorelai? Also, didn't her grandfather leave her anything? Wasn't her dad loaded?

This should've won an Emmy and a Tony.
Shit, a Grammy, an Academy Award, and Pulitzer too.

So... Rory goes and interviews for some website that's been after her for a year and essentially makes it her "go girl give us nothing" moment at the interview and is then angry when she's told they're going in a different direction? 🙄🙄🙄

So Lorelai is now 48th and still acting the fool.
She can't come up with one nice story about her dad?
This show, I swear.

Lorelai still has her Jeep? It's, what, 16-17 years old at that point?
(she says as she thinks about her 15 year old Subaru.)
