This about everything I know about them. It might seem like enough but it really is the very tip of the iceberg. I personally used to avoid them. I once saw a dynasty of "pleasure" abyssals and that is something traumatizing.

Abyssals are incredibly volatile. They represent the emotion that created them, and often affect the mood of everyone around. Abyssal factions, kingdoms, or whatever it's called are rare and not long for the world. Their extreme behavior makes it impossible to create some sort of order that lasts.

I've received my author copy of the Exalted Essence Player's guide and damn, I'm so, so fond of my work on Abyssals there.
Truly a dream came true to tackle them, and I upon rereading I dare to think I did a good job at writing about those tragic goth deathknights that are my favorite Exalts.

For the record, Abyssals influenced my current beloved idea (alongside Soul Reaver, Soulsborne games, Warhammer, etc.), and in turn I poured some of that back into them as I was working on this assignment.

I wonder if I focus too much on the Precursors being needed for a yearly anniv. I mean, the Abyssals are only loosely tied and HG loves proving people wrong on their presumptions
Because really it and oddly the robots are the only thing holding me back from being confident in it

There is a shot of him in the manga where he is standing far away and it looks super intimidating and I almost did it but it was a frontal shot, and I wanted to make all of 3 abyssals drawings have diferent angles and match so I did this one instead lol.
