I have to figure out how to find that balance, somehow, I guess, and maybe to some degree, part of that is acknowleding that. It's kind of in keeping with the fact that I also have very little interest in being rich. I would like to be financially able to do this work at the highest level though too

I mean as a historian I always look to compare and contrast, which is why I've occasionally pushed back on the label of Apartheid from a historical perspective (whilst fully acknowleding the similarities, I think there are other racialised systems of segregation that are more accurate to compare).
