In response to a slew of anti-trans Democrats pushing hate during the 2026 midterms, Governor Andy Beshear provided principled criticism to the idea that red-state Dems need to adopt anti-trans views to win:

Amy Acton +9, Sherrod Brown +3 wäre schräg. Actons Gegner Ramaswamy ist schon ein ganz besonderer Ungustl, aber dass sie so viel weiter vorne liegt als Brown wäre doch schräg.

I am not asking her to praise Fidel Castro as a lion of the 20th century. But at some point it gets disrespectful to Democrats who have lived under the thumb of the GOP junta for 40 years.

The negative ads that are being run by Vivek Ramaswami are horrible. Amy is totally competent and compassionate and is exactly what Ohio needs. The Actons have been wonderful neighbors and have a real feel for what Ohioans need.

Et bien sûr il faudrait que le PS accepte un vrai programme de rupture, pas seulement des mesurettes sociales démocrates.
