An Adeptor is someone who is even better with cybernetic implants than with their own natural body. Nene was heavily injured in the fire that killed her parents, and is as a result a full-body cyborg; She's an android with a human brain.

SO. Nene lives with Takumi, who she is under the impression is her aunt. This is almost certainly not true, but Takumi genuinely cares for Nene, so it's fine.

Nene is an adeptor, and no I'm not spelling that wrong.
