Many talent agents get paid 20% upfront to submit talent for non-union jobs and still take an additional 20% commission from talent.

Those agents are making 40% or more on non-union commercial projects versus 10% on union commercial work.

Every time you work on a SAG-AFTRA commercial, your employer pays into our pension and health funds on your behalf. These contributions help you qualify for excellent health insurance and a pension that can support you down the road. These benefits don’t exist in the non-union world.

“Open conflicts” can impact your future earnings. SAG-AFTRA contracts guarantee compensation for your exclusivity, and limit how long your ads can air.

“In perpetuity” means forever. You deserve to have control over YOUR brand.
