Je ne jouais pas beaucoup à des jeux mobiles et j'avais envie de pouvoir faire en sorte que mes étudiants créent des jeux. C'était la première fois que je donnais des cours pratique, donc j'avais vraiment envie qu'ils puissent mettre ça de l'avant.

The technique in question is DPCM pitch envelopes. I used it for the kick drums at the Title Screen song. Total Party Kill is also the original source of the AdventureIslands logo jingle: it was originally the level complete jingle for that game.

For Total Party Kill specifically (my most recent one with AdventureIslands prior to this game), it's real NES music as well, but not through what you'd expect, that being Famitracker. Instead, I used IT2NSF by Mukunda Johnson, and use a technique that is outright incompatible with Famitracker.

For this game, as well as almost every single AdventureIslands game I've been involved in (Total Party Kill being the odd one out, as it's NES music, not SNES music), they have been rendered off of SPC files I converted over using Mukunda Johnson's SNESMod.

One of the games, coincidentally the largest soundtrack that I've ever effectively completed (and not by AdventureIslands), is actually not completely stopped progress-wise to my knowledge.

Yes, I am also the musician of Duke Dashington and Total Party Kill. The latter has a NES soundtrack instead of a SNES soundtrack, and is also the source of the opening jingle for the AdventureIslands logo you may be hearing at the start of the author's later games.

Hat das (Raum-)Schiff sein Ziel erreicht, muss noch angelegt oder -dockt werden. Normalerweise etwas, das im Rollenspiel oft übersprungen wird, doch die #Zufallstabelle hat sechs Zwischenfälle.
