Our research group collected samples from a stormwater drain and lake sites to investigate potential microplastic sources and receiving waters.

A causal walk can turn into a small sampling activity. Since I’ll be working with citizen science datasets, I wanted to experience how field observations can become useful environmental data and reveal hotspots, sources, and potential transport pathways.
