You have no idea how much I do not give a crap to thundercracker, and his addition in the aerialbots, it was so dull, zero chemistry, zero dynamics with each other them, due to the fact that all aerialbots have zero character.

So weirdly enough, it's not supposed to be. The script for the episode just calls for a unique spaceship for the Aerialbots, and in typical AKOM fashion, they just used a random design they had ready, which happened to be Broadside's jet mode. Since the ship completely blows up, it's likely not him.

I have two predictions right now. Either they do a Commander Class Nexus Prime, with a recolored Superion frame and a hopefully more interesting tooling on Nexus, or when they get around to a box set of G2 Aerialbots, they're just gonna run extra frames in that color to sell on Pulse.
