I strongly suspect members of the media arrived at this conclusion largely because a disproportionate share of them are from or reside in MAHA-adjacent affluent communities.

I would add it’s so incredibly hard to get in this kind of legal trouble when you’re an affluent white man with very powerful friends…. Trump had to work to get here.

Affluent white men, usually are the children of affluent white men, as such the force of entitlement runs deep. To have been issued even a warning either formally by an actual HR professional or informally by colleagues is an insult they were not raised to appreciate.
