African Geometric Linocut Textile Print
#LinocutPrint #AfricanGeometric #TextileArt #AIArt
A richly detailed geometric mandala printed on cream-colored textured paper with deckled edges. The symmetrical design radiates outward from a central diamond motif filled with a grid of nested squares and diamond shapes. Concentric layers of intricate geometric patterns expand from the center, incorporating angular zigzag lines, chevrons, triangles, stepped forms, and maze-like interlocking shapes. The color palette features warm golden yellow as the dominant background tone, accented by deep forest green and rich burgundy-red, with occasional glimpses of white. The three colors are layered in precise, repeating patterns that create a striking sense of depth and visual rhythm. The overall composition is strongly symmetrical, with mirrored patterns along both horizontal and vertical axes. Corner sections feature diamond shapes and complex interlaced geometric borders, while the outer edge of the design is framed by a continuous row of triangular points resembling teeth or saw blades. The style evokes traditional textile and woodblock print traditions, reminiscent of Andean, African, or Indigenous decorative arts, with bold, flat graphic lines and a meditative, mandala-like quality. The artwork is displayed against a plain light gray background.
