Often these regulatory questions aren't strictly scientific. Sometimes no amount of science is efficacious in changing public perception. I think "should kids have phones" is one where science is only a fraction of the relevant input to policy discussion.

Was having a miserable time in the pharmaceutical R&D labs, got drunk one night and woke up to a ton of in-process grad school applications to Environmental Toxicology programs. Figured I’d roll with it for a bit, 12 years later I’ve run not one but two EcoTox programs for global AgChem companies.
