Similar, but opposite, for the Japanese dub of the transformers beast wars cartoon. They Japanese dub changed Airrazor to male randomly but unbeknownst to them in season 2 Airrazor forms a romantic relationship with Tigatron, so they accidentally made the relationship M|M.

saw someone say that tidal wave was the first gay transformer and while he was an earlier example he was predated by nightscream by four years, and airrazor(+tigatron) by five.

Favorite Rhinox episode of Beast Wars is "The Spark" which also debuts AirRazor. I love it as Rhinox fully risks his live to save a lifeform and it reveals the life force of Cybertronians.

Acquired G1 Roadgrabber! Made sure he was all here and sturdy. Also grabbed G1 Warpath reissue, fox kids Airrazor and Waspinator (missing bits), and Cybertron Armorhide! Hell yeah!
Enjoy these pictures of robots in my lap.

Hasbro Pulse wanted 20 serial numbers, my maiden name, and a semen sample for a return so pulled her head apart & resculpted the beak so now it’s sharper & more accurate than even a perfect example and also did the eyes my own way. Repainted the gold and orange.
I’m not good at this, just insane.

Okay. So. Hear me out.
What if TFP Arcee and BW Airrazor are universal equivalents. Like, the same person in different worlds.
I might need to rewatch Beast Wars with this theory in mind.
(TFP Cliff and BW Tigatron are different people though, I think.)

There's bits of them left, sure, but Tigerhawk is still Tigerhawk, his own person, not "Airrazor, but boy now."

But that Star-Spangled Dickhead Airrazor repaint (or whoever the buggery it was) is 100% an All-American Asshole

Timelines Optimus Prime and Starscream.
A lovely bunch of bots. Why Starscream feels like a retool of Kingdom Airrazor, turning into a bird Optimus is a new mould and very unique. Transforming into a Ox Cart. Without partsforming. This was a birthday from parents and I love it.

"Jungle Stompin'"
Starring:
Smash Changer Optimus Primal
And Rise of the Beasts Deluxe Cheetor and Airrazor
The Smash Changer is actually a very fun fiddle toy. RotB deluxes are also better than their Kingdom counterparts IMO.

I’m kinda surprised they didn’t use the RotB Airrazor for this. Just for variety’s sake.

Another set of these 4 characters from an alternate timeline just makes me feel tired.
Starscream being yet ANOTHER Airrazor-based toy makes me aggressively uninterested in a set of both.

I think so, but I haven't been let down by any of the BW toys. Also, I considered they, but having watched the episodes recently, there was nothing to suggest any of Airrazor left in the personality. Tigerhawk is just Tigertron with wings, so I stuck with the pronouns for him.
