Panel two has Hornet giving Lace a thumbs up and saying "It's not a bad thing." Panel three Lace reaches up and brushes her hair away from her face. "Uh, what's THAT supposed to mean?" She demands. Panel four has Hornet resting her hand over her heart and closing her eyes, still blushing as she says "Your Late Mother was -very- attractive." Lace screams "SPIDER?!" at her. A digital comic by Clockwork Banana depicting the events after Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong: A single panel showing Lace with her arms crossed over her chest and her hair pulled back up into a bonnet. Her back is facing us (and Hornet) as she stands and broods. A note says she is mad and Ignoring Hornet. Hornet also has her back to us but is pleading with Lace to forgive her: "Aww, c'mon. It was merely jest. Lace? I was being facetious, I'm sorry. Lace Please."

A digital comic by Clockwork Banana featuring characters from Hollow Knight: Silksong. It is titled 'Respun Regret': Panel one shows Hornet and Lace standing in what looks to be the aftermath of a fight. Lace looks a bit worse for wear with bits of her fibers sticking out in several spots. Hornet holds Lace's arm as she binds her, saying "Be still." Annoyed, Lace responds, "Ugh, fine." Panel two shows Lace fixed up all shiny and good as new. She SIGHS loudly and says 'Thank you, Spider." Hornet, viewed from behind, says "Wow. Have I inconvenienced you, Child?" Lace responds with a "no..." Panel three shows Lace looking at her repaired arm. "Then what is it that troubles you?" Hornet asks her. Panel four shows Lace backlit and looking troubled, squeezing her opposite arm with her healed one. "It's just... at times, I tire of being so reliant upon you and your Silk... Yes. I AM grateful to you, but..." Panel five has Hornet tilting her head and asking "Do I annoy you, then?" Lace blurts out with a "NO" followed by a "Well, yes, but no." A digital comic by Clockwork Banana featuring characters from Hollow Knight: Silksong: Panel one shows the two of them continuing down the hall. There is a silkfly lantern in the top corner, illuminating them both. "Pff... Anyway. It hardly matters," Lace says dismissively, waving her hand. "Doesn't it?" Asks Hornet. Panel two shows Lace looking annoyed as she sighs. "Nope." She insists. Panel three is Lace continuing forward, eyes closed as she waves her hand and her pin. "In fact, forget that I brought it up. I'm bored, so can we keep--" Panel four is Lace still mid sentence, finishing up the word 'going' as Hornet slips up behind her and puts her spidery arms around Lace's waist. Maybe just a few minutes longer..."

The only fleas I'm happy to sees!

I like to think Lace has a soft spot in her heart for what she perceives as 'big oafs who follow orders'. She still likes being a bully 😅

#AkiArts #HollowKnight #Silksong #comic #fanart
A digital fan comic by Clockwork Banana featuring Hornet and Lace after the events of Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong - Panel one shows Lace and Hornet surrounded by the flea troupe. Several are barking and panting and the two legged fleas are all cheering. "Hello fleas," Says Hornet as someone yells "Miss Hornet! You came back!" Lace looks very uncomfortable. Panel two shows Lace looking even more uncomfortable as the fleas begin to furiously sniff her. She must smell interesting given where she came from. Hornet says "We are back" as she holds a flea in her hands and lets it lick her face. "We see! And are so very glad!" Says Mooshka. Grishkin is laughing at Hornet being licked. Panel three shows Lace from behind being startled by Kratt, who has taken it upon himself to introduce himself. "Oh my my my my... Why hello, Miss Hornet's beautiful new young friend..." He is creepy as ever. Panel four shows Lace folding her arms and half turning away as a flea continues to vigorously sniff her. "You may call me Kratt, Gorgeous." Says the pest. Panel five is Kratt looking surprised as a large figure suddenly looms behind him. Lace asks him "And who is your friend?", causing him to make an 'eh' of confusion. Panel five has Kratt slowly turning to see who has snuck up on him, making his characteristic 'errrrr' noise. A digital fan comic by Clockwork Banana featuring Hornet and Lace after the events of Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong - Panel one has Vog looming over Kratt. Kratt lets out a GAH of surprise while Lace, annoyed still, wonders aloud "How do you let THAT sneak up on you?" Panel two introduces Vog. She places her hand over her heart, the scene focused on her stoic expression. "Am called Vog. Do not heed Kratt-Talks-Too-Much. He is pest." Kratt, off screen, yells 'HEY' in protest. Panel three shows Lace suddenly changing her entire demeanor, bringing her hand up to her cheek "Ohhhh! You're a BRUTE!" She exclaims. "That is so funny!" A flea continues to sniff the fuck out of her. Panel four has the three of them standing together as Lace happily waves a hand and says "Make the horny one cry." Vog and Kratt let out a unified "huh". Panel five suddenly Vog looks very excited, lifting her enormous bone club as she registers Lace's request. "Oh. Gladly," She says while Kratt screams NO, causing Lace to burst into laughter. A digital fan comic by Clockwork Banana featuring Hornet and Lace after the events of Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong - Panel one is a short while later with Lace leaning over to look at Hornet while she stands holding a flea against her face. Lace: Spider. Hornet: Mm? Lace: You keep rather strange company. Hornet: Do I? Lace: -Yes-. Panel two Hornet holds out the flea she was clinging to herself, allowing it to lick Lace instead. Lace recoils, hands raised, uninterested in flea affection. Hornet: Yet you're here. Lace: Yeah. Well. Hornet: I'm glad. Lace: Ugh, don't be gross. The bonus comic is four simple panels showing Hornet sitting minding her own business and humming to herself. By panel two, a flea has joined her. By panel three, two more, with more incoming. By panel four we zoom in on Hornet's mask while it is surrounded by barking and howling and fluffy goodness, her mask bright pink. It is hard to tell if she is horrified or delighted but we can assume the latter.

#AkiArts #HollowKnight #Silksong #fanart
A digital sketchdump by Clockwork Banana featuring Styx and Hornet from Hollow Knight: Silksong. In the first sketch he is looking very sad/scared/worried and saying "Miiisstresssssss" pathetically while Hornet, annoyed, responds "stop calling me that, bug..." The Author has noted that Styx must be protected at all costs next to him. The next doodle is colored and shows them two days later. Styx looks very happy and purrs as Hornet rubs his big gooby face, calling him a "good boy". The final part of the sketch is four comic doodles. The first has Styx holding out a silkworm larva to Hornet, saying "Misstresss, I made thisss, for you <3" In the second panel Hornet is holding the larva and staring silently at it. In the third she is staring up at Styx with stars floating around her head, calmly saying: "I fucking love this." The final panel is of Hornet using Styx as a table and eating the larva. He is so very happy to have her giving him attention and contact.

#AkiArts #HollowKnight #Silksong #Phantom #fanart
A digital sketch page by Clockwork Banana depicting Phantom from Hollow Knight:Silksong and their potential 'creation' at the hands of Grand Mother Silk. They are adorned in a similar style bonnet as Lace but with an additional shawl, sleeves, stockings, and gloves to keep their silk clean. However over time they are destined to become dirty, and GMS never bothers to respin their silk. A true forgotten middle child (if you consider the Weavers and Lace as the oldest and youngest). A digital sketch page by Clockwork Banana depicting Phantom from Hollow Knight: Silksong after they started to truly deteriorate and stopped wearing their constricting clothing. It hurts to have a parent utterly reject you and exile you. However, Phantom seems to have maintained a good relationship with their sister even after their expulsion.

An OC Meme by user @Blobbei showing six different panels featuring Clockwork Banana's current favorite OCs: Panel one (Favorite by Plot) has a bright red background and features Fool and the Oracle. The two have miscommunicated and Fool is giving a thumbs up fist bump while the Oracle is making a heart hand. Panel two (Favorite by Angst) has a gray-white background and features Amadahy Shadowlace holding herself and staring bereft at the viewer. There are countless red eyes and mouths embedded in her dress and a single red thread dances around her body. Panel three (Favorite by OC-ification) has a yellow background and shows two variations of the same character, Wizardmon from Digimon. The left facing one is wearing a non-standard wizardmon outfit (designed by my friend @Snowymoth) for the digital world. The right facing one features their human world attire, and they have on a sunhat, facemask and overalls. Panel four (Favorite by Design) has a bright cyan background and features Anetolie the sphinx. She is looking adorably towards the viewer while covering part of her own label. Her right wing stretches out to point ahead of her. Panel five (Favorite Fandom OC) has a bright magenta background and features Loam the Enderman in a nicely done up dark blue suit with gold buttons and an orange tie and pocket square. There are digitally decaying tendrils behind them. Panel six (Favorite Underused OC) has an orange background and features Gurashi Skydrifter the cicada kephera! He smiles happily at the viewer, his two secondary hands clasped in front of them and an abnormally large poppy keeps his cloak clasped to his body.
