The Herrods shopping trip was grossly misreported. They claimed Justin spent $2 million when in fact he gave each member of the tour, 93 people, myself included £500. We were escorted by Muhammad Alfayed himself - he dressed in the Herrods tartan which made him look like a Middle Eastern leprechaun.

Interesting debate on The Media Show on BBC Radio 4 about the ridiculously disproportionate reporting of the Greg Wallace story. In my experience it’s also what BBC News have to resort to when they don’t have someone else’s investigation to pass off as their own - such as mine with #AlFayed.
