For the CGL version, I shot for what is on the card, and I think I successfully hit "90d toy chic," if I say so myself.

Like the Wolfhound, the Mauler had some different coloring between the series, the toys and the cards. The Mauler was much less impressive on screen, but I still liked it.

So, I still have the battle armor to do (of which there's no modern version) and all the Clan mechs, but with the Mauler, I've finished the first part of the cartoon project.

So, not only did CGL take some liberties with the canon paint scheme of Ciro's Wolfhound, but they also straight-uo changed the variant itself. Zero respect for the guy.

Back to my #FirstSomersetStrikers project. As mentioned in the past, I'm doing two sets - one classic metal, and one modern.
I love the canon pattern on this Awesome from the show.

And trying out my new Dome terrain in the process (announcement pending :P )

Alpha Strike valve-dominating the whole Seeker armada. She just pins whichever Seeker she wants to take and just humps the fuck out of their valves with her own. She puts them in their place so Megatron doesn't have to.

Scouring Sands, Mission 2! We moved to help defend locals from Jade Falcon retaliation. We took down 3 Clanners (almost a 4th but they just barely got away and denied our secondary bonus 😥). Only lost 1 objective, but overall some profit and no permanent losses for us!

#battletech and/or #alphastrike rules question: do protomechs have unit facings like regular mechs? Currently have a bunch sliced but need to know if I should base them on hexes or not.
