Amazon Kinesis Video Streams now supports VPC endpoints with AWS PrivateLink
https://aws.amazon.com/kinesis/video-streams/ now supports interface VPC endpoints powered by https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/privatelink/what-is-privatelink.html, providing private connectivity from your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC). Traffic between your VPC and Kinesis Video Streams stays on the AWS network and is not exposed to the public internet, across the control plane and the video ingestion and playback data planes. Customers with strict security, compliance, or network-isolation requirements can now ingest, store, and play back video without internet gateways, NAT devices, or public IP addresses. For example, connected-camera or IoT video workloads in a private subnet can send media to Kinesis Video Streams and retrieve it for playback and analytics entirely over private connectivity. You create the endpoint from the Amazon VPC console, AWS CLI, or AWS SDKs and can attach a VPC endpoint policy to control access. VPC endpoints for Amazon Kinesis Video Streams are available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Kinesis Video Streams is available, including the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions and the China (Beijing) Region, operated by Beijing Sinnet Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sinnet"). To learn more, see our https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisvideostreams/latest/dg/vpc-interface-endpoints.html.

Amazon Kinesis Video Streams now supports IPv6 for Streams capability
Today, AWS announces Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addressing support forhttps://aws.amazon.com/kinesis/video-streams/. With this enhancement, KVS now offers dual-stack endpoints that let customers use both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to stream video from millions of devices. This means that existing IPv4 implementations continue to work seamlessly while gaining the benefits of IPv6 connectivity. As customers increasingly encounter IPv4 address exhaustion in their private networks, this enhancement delivers much-needed flexibility. Organizations can now seamlessly stream videos using IPv4, IPv6, or dual-stack clients. This advancement simplifies IPv6-based system transitions, ensures compliance requirements are met, and eliminates dependency on costly address translation equipment. IPv6 support is available in all commercial https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisvideostreams-webrtc-dg/latest/devguide/availability.html where Amazon KVS is available except Ap-Southeast-1 and GovCloud regions . To learn more about Amazon KVS, refer to the https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisvideostreams/latest/dg/what-is-kinesis-video.html.

Amazon Kinesis Video Streams WebRTC Multi-Viewer
https://aws.amazon.com/kinesis/video-streams/ now offers the ability to stream real-time audio and video to multiple concurrent viewers via WebRTC, while also recording video and audio from the session to the cloud for storage, playback, and analytical processing. With this update, developers can enable up to 3 concurrent viewers of real-time feeds from cameras or other video-producing devices without increasing compute or bandwidth utilization on the device. In addition, participants can engage in audio conversations with each other, enabling direct real-time communication between viewers during the session. Developers can now build real-time peer-to-peer streaming applications by installing the https://github.com/awslabs/amazon-kinesis-video-streams-webrtc-sdk-c/tree/wrtc-stream-ingestion-support across security cameras, IoT devices, PCs, and mobile devices. Using the APIs, developers can create applications that stream real-time media to multiple concurrent viewers. They can develop solutions for scenarios such as home security applications sharing camera feeds with family members, remote proctoring systems with multiple monitoring operators, or robot operation control centers with audit capabilities. Developers can implement both live and on-demand video playback through session recording, and build advanced applications utilizing computer vision and video analytics by integrating with Amazon Rekognition Video and Amazon SageMaker. Amazon Kinesis Video Streams WebRTC Multi-Viewer is available in all regions where Amazon Kinesis Video Streams is available, except the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions and the China (Beijing, operated by Sinnet) Region. Amazon Kinesis Video Streams now supports a new cost effective warm storage tier
AWS announces a new warm storage tier for https://aws.amazon.com/kinesis/video-streams/ (Amazon KVS), delivering cost-effective storage for extended media retention. The standard Amazon KVS storage tier, now designated as the hot tier, remains optimized for real-time data access and short-term storage. The new warm tier enables long-term media retention with sub-second access latency at reduced storage costs. The warm storage tier enables developers of home security and enterprise video monitoring solutions to cost-effectively stream data from devices, cameras, and mobile phones while maintaining extended retention periods for video analytics and regulatory compliance. Moreover, developers now have the flexibility to configure fragment sizes based on their specific requirements — selecting smaller fragments for lower latency use cases or larger fragments to reduce ingestion costs. Both hot and warm storage tiers integrate seamlessly with Amazon Rekognition Video and Amazon SageMaker, enabling continuous data processing to support the creation of computer vision and video analytics applications. Amazon Kinesis Video Streams with the new warm storage tier is available in all regions where Amazon Kinesis Video Streams is available, except the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. Amazon Kinesis Video Streams (KVS) now supports WebRTC in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
Amazon Kinesis Video Streams (KVS) now supports WebRTC (Real-Time Communication) in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, bringing real-time, low-latency media and data streaming to security-sensitive workloads in the cloud. Amazon Kinesis Video Streams makes it easy to securely ingest, store, and process video from connected devices at scale. WebRTC support extends this capability to real-time, two-way media streaming, enabling sub-second latency for mission-critical applications. With this update, AWS customers and AWS Partners who operate in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions can now build and deploy real-time video streaming applications without compromising on compliance. For example, the update enables developers within these agencies to support critical use cases including live surveillance feeds for border security and military installations, real-time body camera streaming for law enforcement with data residency compliance, remote drone and UAV video monitoring for defense operations, and Internet of Things (IoT) smart infrastructure monitoring for state and local governments, all while meeting Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High and other regulatory requirements. This feature is available today in AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West). To get started, visit the https://aws.amazon.com/kinesis/video-streams/ and see the https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisvideostreams-webrtc-dg/latest/devguide/availability.html for complete regional availability.
