Gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Tochter Hafsa lebte sie seit 2017 in München. Amel war ein Mensch, der sich für Gerechtigkeit eingesetzt hat. War aktiv für Solidarität, Gleichheit und setzte sich für Arbeitnehmer*innenrechte ein und gegen Fremdenfeindlichkeit und Ausgrenzung.

Israel is systematically destroying healthcare in South Lebanon (Jabal Amel). Bonbing hospitals and killing medics. This is ethnic cleansing.
The Israeli occupation forces targeted a residential area in Tyre near Jabal Amel Hospital, killing at least six people and injuring 23 others. The strike severely damaged the hospital, cutting power to the intensive care units and affecting the dialysis center and patient wards as well.
