I used to enjoy Americast when it was Maitlis and Sopel.
It is unlistenable with Webb. He is unbelieveably ill-informed. Indeed so much so I would simply describe him as dense.

I note that when credible sexual assault allegations were made against Mr Platner in Maine the Democratic Party rightly forced him off the ticket. When a jury in New York found Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse the Republican Party nominated him for president-Again. #Americast #r4today

I used to listen to BBC Americast until he joined and he was immediately a Trump apologist, way before the 2020 election. Already knowing he was a transphobe, pipeline confirmed.

This attribution of motive, or the trusting of the person’s expressed motive seems insane to me, particularly in an environment where they just keep lying. I heard a BBC Americast journalist doing this too a while back, “Donald Trump does not like people dying and is trying to stop it in Gaza…”
