A Pennsylvania-based solar development company, Ampliform, has secured a significant loan facility of up to $165 million from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), marking a crucial milestone in its national expansion plans. The funding will enable Ampliform to accelerate the development and construction of its growing portfolio of solar projects, primarily focusing on the PJM region, as demand for renewable energy infrastructure continues to rise due to increasing electricity consumption from sectors such as data centers and electric vehicle production.

After a lengthy public hearing with dozens of speakers both for and against, the Nottoway County Board of Supervisors voted to accept a draft siting agreement with Ampliform Rocky Ford LLC with reservations allowing limited edits; document includes $8 million in phased capital payments and decommissioning surety but language on residential setbacks drew sustained opposition.
