It’s World Bear Day. This little bronze bear is a Roman ampulla, or flask for liquids. It was possibly used by its owner to take oil to the bath house for a massage and scrape down.

As Gwynne et al. found, confirming a longstanding entomological theory, was that if you give the female a huge treat to eat BEFORE she gets to the ampulla (sperm deposition packet), she'll be distracted for long enough that the sperm can make it out.

Hát sajnos az állatorvosunk is megerősítette, hogy ez nagyon nagy valószínűséggel FIP. A FIP Warriors FB csoport előtt meg le a kalappal, tegnap este óta mindenben segítenek, pár óra múlva megyek is az első ampulla injekcióért, és a doktorbácsi szerint is nagyon nagyon jók az esélyeink! Megoldjuk!

Senki ne vegye úgy, hogy ezt most nagyzolásból írom ki, de egyszerűen megláttam a FIP-es csoportban egy kis fekete-fehér cicmó segítségkerő posztját, és úgy megszakadt a szívem, elküldtem neki egy ampulla árát. Ha meg fake, akkor ennél sokkal feleslegesebb dolgokra is pazaroltam már pénzt. 🤪
