Saw lots of this lovely #mistletoe in flower at the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park this weekend. Native to Australia, the sticky seeds of this hemiparasitic plant are spread by the Mistletoe bird

For this #WildlifeWednesday is the vulnerable Painted Honeyeater (Grantiella picta), which grows up to 16 cm in length and is found in open forests and woodlands. This honeyeater is a specialist feeder, mostly feeding on the fruit of mistletoes, especially Amyema species!

Looks vigorous. I believe the koalas have been nibbling on its host, making things a little sparse.
