Anadyr airbase is located on the Yakutia Peninsula, 6,750 km from Ukraine.

Chukotka as secondary data can be added as GIS2 which is based off Yandex shows gas stations in Anadyr as closed. And in the bank data from Alfa Bank which uses transaction data the Jewish Autonomous Oblast has gas stations there as closed.

This evening a Rossiya Airlines Boeing 747, flying from Moscow to Anadyr (Chukotka in the far east), hurriedly returned to Sheremetyevo airport, straight after take-off.

The flight landed safely after reports of excess heat.
