It's International #AngelsharkDay ( #IASD26 ) and we are spotlighting 𝘚𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢, a CMS-listed angelshark species.

Because they move across maritime borders, safeguarding them takes international cooperation.

Today is International #AngelSharkDay, a day to spotlight one of the most critically endangered sharks in European waters: the Angelshark (Squatina squatina) 🦈🌍

As such, a CMS Single Species Action Plan for the Mediterranean aims to improve its status 🌊
