Wait, does being on this site mean we can have civil conversations about things that people on twitter have no chill over?
Hmm...
Anime dubs today are mostly ok to even good. There are some translation issues, mostly for the sake of sounding somewhat naturally english

World Trigger is a pretty fun anime. One of the lead characters is dubbed by MLPFIM's Spike's voice actress too. #animedubs

BTW, someone on r/animedubs thought Anime Limited could revive the UK anime dubbing scene on titles Crunchyroll released sub-only, failing to understand the economics.

The world of dub elitists, or I guess just Dub onlys is really interesting. I say elitists in jest but sometimes they really do be basically sounding like sub elitists. They fought a whole war but really they're the same. Genuinely interesting thread to read through

“Don’t do just anime,” yet I’m seeing newcomers announcing their debuts.
I’m not envious of them. I’m angry when told often not to do anime when others are succeeding. Almost as if this message of “no anime” is purposely gatekeeping me from being in the industry.
