Some people on anitwt just feel entitled to entertainment and don’t even care about the creator or their work. It’s always “my way or the highway” with these people and they wonder why so many shows aren’t getting made and why creators want nothing to do with fanbases.

A really weird thing that was prevalent on international anitwt in the early 2020s was memes about how peaceful the world would be without US involvement to that some posts were cheering on a Trump presidency as a way to destroying the country...
Speaking as someone who’s a bit closer to seeing the direct impacts of the MAGA murder of USAID than some, I just don’t have a ton of patience for people who want to condemn USAID for what it was and who also don’t have opinions or solutions on dealing with the hideous fallout of its destruction.

That's an example that's easy to pull out, but there was soooo much homophobia in the anitwt community overall. Like, the fact that someone would know they were in a safe place to express that type of bigotry is part of the problem.
