Foreign citizens more likely to commit sex crimes than Britons Matt Dathan - Times Home Affairs Correspondent Foreign citizens are more than three times as likely to commit sexual offences as British adults, according to new analysis. The police made more than 9,000 arrests of non-British citizens for alleged sexual offences in the first ten months of 2024, which made up a quarter of all arrests for the crime. According to research by the Centre for Migration Control, a new antiimmigration think tank, people in this group are 3.5 times more likely to be arrested for sexual offences than British adults. For every 100,000 foreign citizens in the UK 164 people were arrested for sexual offences. This compares with 48 per 100,000 for British adults, according to the research. The data was based on freedom of information requests from 41 of the 43 police forces in England and Wales and covers January to October 2024.

The announcements included a safe route to disperse and leave the area and what type of force may be used for those who refused to disperse. The announcements continued throughout the deployment in an attempt to gain voluntary compliance. I wonder if my American friends understand how much Trump has destroyed the US as a travel destination. People are legitimately afraid that they might be detained for weeks in conditions that violate human rights standards, and have no idea how to avoid that outcome. So they aren't coming.
