1/ Russian sources expect that as well as purchasing Russian oil and diesel, Donald Trump will provide Russia with spare parts to repair the refineries damaged by Ukrainian drone strikes. They anticipate that Trump's fuel deal will lead to a Russian victory. ⬇️

I just hope there’s enough of us normal people for what I anticipate potentially happening if things swing blue in November.

Anyway, it reminded me how mysterious stories are and how powerful or unexpected they can be in their effects if they hit you at the right moment. You never know whether something you create might be of use in ways you'd never anticipate.

Per Russian media, “Russian sources expect that as well as purchasing Russian oil and diesel, Donald Trump will provide Russia with spare parts to repair the refineries damaged by Ukrainian drone strikes. They anticipate that Trump's fuel deal will lead to a Russian victory.”

Something I didn't anticipate when we moved into a forest: raindrops hitting leaves and dripping down from leaf to leaf amplifies the sound of rainfall dramatically, even if the rain is quite light. It's magical, and with everything else quiet outside it's truly lovely to experience.

Not only did I anticipate from Israeli wars past that the IDF would deploy indiscriminate violence; i could already anticipate by the media coverage the hollowing out of my personal grief, it’s inevitable transformation into a weapon of the Zionist state 2/2

We've spent an entire year with pundits failing to anticipate what the electorate would look like in the fall, and now people are failing to anticipate what Trump would look like to Republicans if the Dems take over Texas and win Senate seats in Kansas, Alaska and South Carolina.
Reminder that every Democrat voted to impeach Trump both times.

Also, a reminder that Trump will not be removed unless/until Republicans think it’s in their partisan & personal self-interest to remove him. And while that may eventually be the case it is not the case in the foreseeable future.
Any Democrat announcing pre-emptively that they won't impeach Trump is not just failing to fulfill their constitutional duties, they're signaling to Trump that he can ramp up the abuses because they're not going to hold him accountable.

Nope.

This is why I anticipate a Democratic president won’t have too hard a time mending fences: everyone knows it can happen again, but taking advantage of partners while they’re partners makes it easier to sustain the system when one member drops out (temporarily or less so)
So 1) yes, but 2) I think there is a danger here in assuming that 'authoritarian relapse' within the Status Quo Coalition is a USA-exclusive problem.

*Most* coalition members have a major right-wing authoritarian party. Your defense policy should assume any one state could relapse at any time.
like you really think we shouldn't look at US supply chains and support here? Idk. I would
