Looking at you too, Aorearoa...

There should be a law passed, and enforced, that we will no longer have for profit prisons of any kind! Ever again! Incentivized incarceration should be a crime against humanity and should be retroactively enforced! They know what they are doing is wrong!

Just got home and immediately tore open my #MWSecretSantaAoNZ gifts. And Yay! My favourite things. All locally made in Raglan. Dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, and a handcrafted ceramic coffee cup to enjoy the coffee in. 😁 Thank you Secret Santa!

FFS Aorearoa, we have a government that can't condemn a literal fascist regime. If you vote for fascist-adjacents, don't be surprised when they start fascism'ing here too.

YOUR FOREBEARS FOUGHT AGAINST THIS!!!

Thinking about those who have raised the alarm to try to prevent the erosion of our democracy in Aotearoa over the last couple of years:

“As a former Prime Minister of this country, I am concerned that our democracy is being weakened by the methods this Government is using to achieve its goals.”
Lurching towards constitutional impropriety
Opinion: Constitutional law expert and former Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer takes a deep, concerned look at the risks this Government is taking with hasty law changes

They're trying the same transphobic crap in Aorearoa (New Zealand) as they're attempting in the UK. Fight it on every front. Ideally i want it fought just because you care about trans rights but honestly if it's because this also impacts cis women then sure. That'll do. Fight the fascists.

Maybe Aorearoa could do with knowing the reason Edmonds stopped being on British TV for, well, about 30 years.

What to do in the big wet? Photography of course! Dyers Pass perry pears are growing nicely. Not too late for the sun to help before harvest. And luckily Wairarapa is not badly affected like some. Good crop developing. #pear #perrypear #orchard #wairarapa #NewZealand #Aorearoa

I'm assuming that "chasing the wind and catching shadows" is some sort of deep meaningful proverb...?

I'd argue that, in this case, Stuff has done exactly what it is accused of...it has caught (and exposed) the shadows of Chinese espionage in Aorearoa...

Shadows struggle to survive in the light...

Let's be very clear, people of Aorearoa New Zealand, this announcement has ONE purpose only: to serve as a distraction.

With economic news getting worse week by week, this govt is fast running out of options. Its unfounded reputation as a Prudent Fiscal Manager is in tatters.Crime is increasing.(1)

Does sage grow in Aorearoa? Sage in the US is being over harvested. You might ask about local smudging plants/rituals. I recently found out that we use different plants in my region for a type of smudging.
