Need to get back to higher resolution lunar imaging: this is an early little project I did, the lunar Apennines & Apollo 15 landing site as seen with my 8" SCT & Canon DSLR. The crater Archimedes is to the left.

Was out with just the DSLR last night - it really was gorgeous just after dusk, so made use of the dark sky window before moonlight became an issue.

Was out with just the DSLR last night - it really was gorgeous just after dusk, so made use of the dark sky window before moonlight became an issue.
