People who arrive early to every event and then stand around waiting for things to get started annoy the shot out of me.

Entertain yourselves! It's not our fault your ancestors came over on the Aprilshower

my dad 💜 bearded irises (and peonies and hibiscus), collecting old varieties. I’ve never been them blooming in his garden but I gifted him heirlooms as old as 1500. These aren’t old but he’d have loved their boldness. 🕯️ #alphabetchallenge #weekPforPurple

A German bearded iris in purple and white in our garden. Planted in memory, happily flaunting itself in this late April rain.

Rainy day in the garden, nature’s way of watering so I don’t have to! The plants are thriving, the soil is happy, and I’m just out here in my boots pretending it’s a cozy cottagecore dream.
