On my 50th Birthday I did some watch shopping, and tried on a 40mm titanium Panerai just for kicks. Was amazing. I also really liked the titanium Tag Aquaracer solargraph.

Bought it at Caesar's Forum in Las Vegas in 2023. Big dummy thicc diver watch. I whack it into doorknobs a lot. As a result, were it ever stolen from me, I'd be able to identify it off dings alone, let alone the serial number.

I have a love-hate relationship with TAG Heuer. The one above is a quality watch. This contemporary modern Aquaracer Chronograph is almost trash. Quartz Ronda Caliber 5040.D and cost cutting everywhere, including the caseback and buckle. Nice colour though.

Product photos make of the ladies Aquaracer look like a regular dive watch, but with a case diameter of only 27mm a lady would need a Asian-slim wrist. It's like a mini moto bike.

I think I'll buy this Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date for myself. It's a behemoth at 43mm, but wears OK. And the buckle is brilliant!
But don't buy new (HKD27,200 MSRP) I'm paying HKD4,000 (£375/$510) which is fair.

I think I'll buy this Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date for myself. It's a behemoth at 43mm, but wears OK. And the buckle is brilliant!
