Don't you think #Arabian_leopards are the most stunning of all the leopard species?! This one is in #Taiz #Yemen, such a very rare, endangered big cat with beautiful markings... ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

It's #internationalcatday2025! A day to celebrate all things #cat! We wanted to celebrate ours in Taiz, especially the #Arabian_leopards! So beautiful, so agile, so rare and so very, very precious! ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

This #Caturday here are three of the #Arabian_leopards in #TaizZoo #Yemen. The leopards are making the most of the tree which a donor kindly funded, and the shelf our supporters kindly funded. This means the leopards can practice their climbing skills. ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

Why do #Arabian_leopards matter? Panthera has a great page on they protect ecosystems. Love the name Guardians of the Desert! #leopards #bigcats #ecosystems #ForTheLoveofLeopards #endangered #everycatmatters panthera.org/blog-post/gu...

On #InternationalLeopardDay, the
@IUCN
Specialist Cat Group has info about the different subspecies. Size and colour vary a lot. The Arabian_leopards are the smallest of the subspecies and Taiz Zoo has many of them. Visit www.catsg.org/living-speci... to find out about leopards!

Hi everyone! It's #InternationalLeopardDay today #LoveLeopards #ForTheLoveOfLeopards. A great chance to learn about #leopards from the day's website at www.internationalleopardday.org We're may be biased but we think #Arabian_leopards are the BEST leopards!

We hope you've all had a good week and that you're enjoying the weekend so far :-) The zoo is gathering the costings it needs to do some urgent maintenance on the lions' enclosure and after that, we're on to the #Arabian_leopards to do theirs.

We hope you've all had a good week and you're ready for the weekend! Everyone at the zoo in Taiz is okay, enjoy this video of the leopards! #Arabian_leopards #bigcats ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

After #InternationalArabianLeopardDay, we need to make sure that ground we've lost in raising awareness of these endangered cats isn't lost and that we build on it. These #leopards need us to #fight for their #Future and do what we can to ensure they survive. #Arabian_leopards

We hope you are all having a good Tuesday. In 2026, our main focus is the #Arabian_leopards in
#Taiz #Zoo. They are so precious - every animal is - and there are over 40 of them in the zoo. We really hope we can give them new, bigger enclosures in 2026. ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

We hope you've all had a good start to the week! The #Zoo in #Yemen is working on a plan for next year that we can help with; those incredibly rare and stunning #Arabian_leopards will be a big part of that! #bigcats #makeadifference. Please join in at ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...

Thanks to a very kind donor last year, we were able to give the Arabian leopards trees to climb - they are really agile climbers! The trees had to be made, or they would not have lasted long. #Arabian_leopards are really rare. ko-fi.com/friendsofyem...
