In the Philippines, generosity comes naturally, but maintaining support remains a challenge. For many organizations, people are willing to help, yet turning that goodwill into consistent fundraising is not always easy. On March 31, 2026, Initiate Global Foundation, Inc. (IGF) and Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) formalized a partnership that marks a shift in how nonprofit organizations raise funds in the country. Through iGive, IGF’s donation-based crowdfunding platform, Silid Aralan can now reach a broader audience, while IGF helps mobilize Filipinos to maximize the impact of every contribution. IGF is the Philippines’ first social fintech enterprise and serves as the sustainability arm of Initiate PH, the world’s first all-in-one crowdfunding platform. While Initiate PH is in the process of securing its secondary license with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for debt and equity crowdfunding to support MSMEs and the agricultural sector, IGF, a non-stock, non-profit foundation, is already compliant and fully registered with national government regulators, is now extending the same level of innovation, transparency, and reach to support nonprofit organizations, individuals who need help, and innovators and creators. “For years, Silid Aralan has been bringing education to communities that need it most,” said Arcie G. Mallari, Founder and Chief Motivation Officer of Silid Aralan, Inc. “Through this partnership, our campaigns on iGive will be promoted to a larger audience, giving us the chance to reach our fundraising targets and sustain programs that provide learning opportunities, teacher training, and community support nationwide. More than that, it shows that when organizations work together, we can open more doors and create opportunities that go beyond just education.” “This partnership is about more than raising funds,” said Giovanni B. Velo, President and COO of Initiate Global Foundation. “It’s about creating lasting collaborations built on bayanihan, where organizations support each other toward shared goals. By promoting Silid Aralan’s campaigns through iGive, we’re helping them reach more people and sustain their advocacy, while also showing that donation-based crowdfunding can deliver real results where traditional giving often falls short. Education is just the beginning. Through Initiate 2030, we aim to support all advocacies, contribute to achieving the SDGs, and build partnerships that create meaningful, lasting impact.” Beyond iGive, IGF also offers iStart, a rewards-based crowdfunding platform that allows individuals to support causes while receiving rewards for their contributions. Both platforms aim to make giving more personal, engaging, and effective. Symbolically, both IGF and Silid Aralan share a common image in their logos: a door. For IGF, the door represents opportunities unlocked through digital platforms, giving people the chance to take part in nation-building. For Silid Aralan, the door signifies access to education and opportunity for students, teachers, and communities. Together, these doors are opened wider, creating pathways for hope, progress, and lasting change. IGF encourages other nonprofit organizations to join this movement. With iGive’s transparent, scalable, and sustainable donation model, NGOs can reach more supporters, amplify their advocacy, and achieve fundraising targets without extra burden.
