Finished the Ardboys with Metal Varnish and organized the 30 (+4) of them into usable units. Still working on Big Waaagh lists for an RTT coming up in 2 weeks.
Got a bit less Hobby Time in the next week with an exam coming up.
30 Ardboys organized into 3 units of 10. The unit on the right consists of the new Ardboys kit, next to it a unit of old Ardboys with the Ironskulls Boys mixed in. Behind the rest of the old ardboys.

New Ardboys are getting pirate hats and left-hand weapons. Plus baggage like pistols, powder and shot pouches, maps, ropes, trophies and trinkets.

3D printed the base toppers (+tokens) and got the Ardboys ready to be primed. Also trimmed some of the spears down to get them to line up a bit better..
Ten of the new Ardboys now standing on bases with 3D printed textures on top. In front there are two Orc themed coins. One of the Ardboys holding his spear, that was cut down in size, out front.

Some Orruk Ardboys, mostly primed and underpainted in shades of gray. Their arms, ears and other uncovered skin is basecoated in a greenish khaki color.

Washed the red armor on the Ardboys and built the Kruleboys Monsta Killaz, some really fun models.

Back to the Ardboys: Finished the two highlights layers of the skin and got started on the pants and cloth parts with a basecoat and wash.
Ten orruk ardboys with bright green skin and some parts of the cloth and pants picked out in dark grey paint. The rest is in bright gray underpainting.

Airbrushing day! Primed the Krondspine Idol Incarnate and Kruleboys Monsta Killaz - nearly didn't have enough black primer. Also varnished the Ardboys and tokens.
The 3D printed Kaijumon Regirock Miniature with added Orruky bits, behind the Kruleboys Monstakillaz Warcry Unit. They are primed in zenithal from dark grey up to bright grey. 2 small coin tokens in front of ten Ardboys with mostly red armor.

Highlighted the red armour on 6/10 Ardboys. Need to remember they're a unit of 10/20 not solo characters..
Screwed up with the MDF base for the Incarnate, so I'll have to wait for a replacement. Also found some bits for the Incarnate.
Six Orruk Ardboys, now with some highlights on the red armour, leaning into orange. A small box with a collection of Orruky Bits, Banners etc.. Next to it a Wet Pallette with a fresh (wrinkly) Membrane.

Finished the metal on the Ardboys, really like how the champions choppa turned out. Only the bases left now.
Also roughly shaped the base for Krondspine while watching some hockey. Should probably figure out how to differentiate between the rocky(?) base and the model.
Ten Orruk Ardboys now fully painted, only the bases remain. Layers of Cork glued on top of a base with a lot of white glue. They are shaped to roughly resemble rock clifffaces. On top the 3D printed Regirock model is propped up.
