Long read + thread on Farage's criminal aristocratic mate - false passports, casinos and dodgy Reform UK Ltd dealings

Seems that Reform UK Ltd changed from Limited by Shares to Limited by Guarantee in February 2025 - when Cottrell's mom was referred to the police for dodgy donations to Farage

The ‘24 elections revealed two cruel pol realities:

If the best candidate of color/woman lost to a convicted criminal, then racism/sexism are a cancer.

If progressive Pre. Biden cannot facilitate multiple prosecutions, then we must accept the privilege of white men in the aristocratic class.

Alexis de Tocqueville's best-known work was his classic study "Democracy in America," analyzing our living standards and system of government during his travels here

He noted America's cash bail system was aristocratic horseshit way back in *1835*

They're not going to be staying around Earth, especially a town named Rushville & would probably fly off to another planet

For another show, they'd do quite well getting involved in the drug trade, aristocratic dealings & criminal enterprises. Quite capable with the violence too
Your original character is now in the last game you played OR show you watched.

How do they fare?

How difficult is it for her to show where the money came from?

It seems that, despite her aristocratic background, Fiona Cottrell is thought to have relatively modest means (altho’ she inherited £1.5 million on her husband’s death in 2023.

It amazes me that, working class right wingers are gamed by these two playing out some tawdry 19th Century elite public school rerun: A young aristocratic criminal and his roguish daddy figure.
Time people saw through Farage’s squandering of a privileged education in favour of a lifetime of grift.
Thanks for everything!

The overall picture of Reform's funding base — two offshore crypto billionaires, a convicted financial criminal, luxury property developers, and aristocratic old money — is a long way from the working-class towns that provide its votes.

The asshole is trying to turn our White House into a palace.
Monarchs have palaces. America is not a monarchy.

Ergo, the gaudy, faux-aristocratic 'ballroom' will be demolished when the criminal president is gone.

One in its recent history maybe. Most (all?) aristocratic families wouldn't be aristocratic in the first place without fraud, coercion or some other form of criminal activity.

From political (far-right) to criminal (mafia), this system has proven over centuries to work.

In theory this is not too far off from classic aristocratic systems (in doubt an in-group selects a new leader), but in those heredity plays a central role, while it plays none for the catholic church.

I’ve noted this elsewhere, but our legal system’s roots are in the aristocratic class, which created courts as a primary means of vindicating property rights. Everything else, e.g. criminal law, was secondary, and always led back to that principal purpose. Little has changed.

The plea deal meant he was only convicted of wire fraud, but he was still clearly guilty of much more.

Despite that it’s still weird to describe your criminal financier as “aristocratic” whilst claiming to be “anti-establishment”

Action would shift from some aristocratic town house to a slum full of criminal gangs and it was basically "walk five minutes up The Strand, turn left and Bob's your uncle."

all conservative/right-wing aesthetic tendencies betray their goal of reestablishing an aristocratic class of overlords via naked criminal oligarchy & tossing everyone who doesn't pass the racial quantum tests into the slave pits. they just want rhodesia back soooooooooooo bad.

between the criminal aristocratic political family and gwen stefani's ex-husband there are just too many reasons why i find "BUSH" to be such an unattractive word

Meet Atticus Sloane; misanthropic criminal, avid vinyl collector and member of an aristocratic Vampire cabal, and for the right price he’ll turn you into a Vampire.

So the next question a journalist needs to ask Tice:

"I see you defended the convicted criminal Cotterill as coming from your long standing friends, the Hesketh family, who you describe as "a very successful aristocratic family". Do you still claim to be fighting against the "Establishment"?

Criminal podcast always finds like the most interesting stories to tell. The one I’m listening to is about a man from an aristocratic family who falls in love with a black woman in the 1920s. His family kidnaps him and for 1yr she doesn’t see or hear from him until she gets served annulment papers.
