Last night, I had someone try and shoot me down regarding my intentions for making a "gay Asian gunslinger witch superhero" in #Axiom - that being Arlen Yu aka SPELLSLINGER.
Then I showed them references for her design.
They promptly shut the hell up and said "fuck, that's actually really cool".

The GOP has undercut its own incentives. Like, when Arlen Specter switched, that's because the Dem Caucus allowed him to enter the caucus with seniority from his GOP service to keep his committees. But the Senate GOP have rotating chairs/ranking with terms, so they have less carrots to offer.
