🎨 🐕 Cave Hill Cemetery and Arboretum in Louisville, Kentucky, is considered among America’s prettiest historic cemeteries. It also contains an #ArtfulPup or two. These playful companions sculpted in bronze by Wyatt Gragg grace the Larmee family plot.

🎨🐕 In today’s #ArtfulPup feature, even the dogs are enjoying Old Home Week festivities in Kennebunk, ME. Such community-wide celebrations are common throughout New England, and the 1st one in this coastal town was held in July 1907. This 1984 painting by Cissy Buchanan is at the Brick Store Museum.

🎨🐕This week's #ArtfulPup is among the largest we’ve ever featured (Yonder included for scale). This gentle giant is “Trojan Dog,” made by Ann Glover in 2012 with steel, resin, foam and auto paint. It stands sentinel outside Fire Station No. 7 in Roanoke, Virginia.

🎨🐕 Trust us when we say there’s an #ArtfulPup here! Look closely, and you’ll see a pair of dogs, carved in cottonwood, peering over the top deck of Luis Tapia’s 1976 “Noah’s Ark.” From the collection of the American Folk Art Museum in NYC, we caught the piece on view at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.
