2007 me: Ugh I hate drawing hands, I'm just going to have them hide behind them or in their pockets.

Present day me:

I’ve realized adding captions to my photos in my photo roll will let me keep easy access alt text for later posting of art pieces etc or cross platform. This is going to save me so much time, I am so unreasonably excited. 🤓

Me trying to accomplish something in my artistic endeavors I have no idea how to execute

A Harvey sticker

Harvey the hyena viewed from behind, sitting at a table, a pencil in hand text “has no idea where to start” next to an arrow pointing at his head with dialogue that reads; “Eh… I’ll just get jiggy with it”

I don’t understand screen tones. I just… screen tones frustrate me. Every time I try using it for black and white illustrations, I’m sure I’m doing it wrong.

Do you prefer screen tones in your bw drawings or comics? Or is my ink shade style good or amateur-ish..?

Making and selling ACEOS are a great creative outlet, but it’s not gonna make you rich. Although knowing what the market wants from you can have some of your cards go for a pretty penny 🤑💰

With metas new updates, I'm gonna try my hardest to grow my bluesky account and post more regularly here.

I am sick of these big companies stealing creatives hard work to feed into AI.

A two-panel vertical comic about the artist. In the first panel Anubis pumps their fists and exclaims "Yes! I’m gonna draw and get so much work done toda-" the bottom panel interrupts the dialogue with them snoring, doing a "SNORK" as Anubis is now passed out comfy and cosy in their bed. (Fully and categorically not getting a single thing done.)

This is why you make reference sheets and turn around models. Even though I thought this little bugger was going to be a one off piece I love the character design and wouldn’t mind drawing them in other things but my god.
