a winter scene with cute stylized shinee playing in the snow. key is yelling while being buried in snow and shaped into a snowman by minho and onew. onew is sticking a bunch of sticks into one side of snowman-key as many arms. jonghyun is laughing and holding a sled with taemin partially lying on it, posing for the viewer. the name "taemin" can be seen written into snowman-key's front with a heart.

Digital collage depicting the Two of Swords. Taemin stands central between two crossed swords. The sun is setting behind him and there is a crescent moon in the sky. He is wearing a black suit jacket, asymmetrical black skirt and black straight cut trousers with black leather dress shoes. There is a scribble of white over his eyes like a blindfold.

a zoomed in view of a christmas tree lit up and decorated with SHINee ornaments: Jonghyun dressed as an elf holding a large candy cane, Onew also as an elf carrying a bag of presents, Taemin as an angel kneeling & praying with a halo and wings, Key sitting inside a present with a bow on his head, and Minho as Santa holding a present happily. Scattered around are pets and representative animals: a rabbit, Roo, a chipmunk/squirrel, Koongie and Daengie, and Comme des and Garcon.

Previous image appears on a card which sits atop the rest of the deck. Screenshot of notes app. It reads: The Stoic Dichotomy of Control is the philosophy of achieving tranquility and wisdom by understanding and distinguishing between what we can and cannot control. I wanted to explore the concept of control and how it connects with sense of self by using the symbology of the Two of Swords, a tarot card that represents choice and the making of decisions unhindered by external influence. The iconography associated with the Two of Swords immediately reminded me of Taemin’s overarching visual language. Beginning with a scan of my NGDA extended edition and including LOTR’s Andúril in reference to the ADVICE jacket imagery, I used a combination of stock imagery and my own photography to create a digital collage and mock up of a tarot deck. Happy Taemin Day.
