This week's Artist I Like is Rick Geary, who has drawn a ton of murder books. #ArtistsILike #RickGeary

Pic of cover for A Treasury of Victorian Murder illustrated by Rick Geary. Color illustration of a Victorian sitting room or parlor. A girl or woman in foreground looks slightly pensive. There's a sort of glass vial on the floor next to the legs of a fallen man, presumably dead. A woman in background is moving off camera. There's a sofa, ferns, etc. Something rotten has taken place.

June 2nd's #ArtistsILike was #MarieSeverin! #Comics #Art

doomslakers.blogspot.com/2024/06/arti...
"How to be a Comic Book Artist!" comic page by Marie Severin. Satirical piece showing the artist first as a typical 50s male professional with pipe and tie and neat studio space. But then he is quickly revealed to be a slob in a dump wearing flip flops and using old, junky tools.
